Evaluating the pharmacokinetics of understudied drugs in children

Currently, only 25% of drugs approved for use in the United States by the FDA have enough pediatric data to establish safety and efficacy for use in children. This lack of data places children at risk for developing adverse events or ineffective treatments. This study looks to gather data on drugs being used in children that lack sufficient data.
