Akron Children’s offers a flexible benefits package that is designed to meet the individual needs of our employees. Benefit elections can be made when first hired in a Benefits Eligible Status, within 31 days of a Life Event, or during the annual Open Enrollment period.

You can choose 1 of 3 medical plan options which all include prescription drug coverage. You also have the option to enroll your spouse in 1 of the hospital’s medical plans, subject to certain limitations. Please see Spouse Medical Coverage.
