Asthma affects more than 7 million kids and is the most common chronic disease of childhood.
However, most children with asthma lead normal lives with medications and self-care techniques, such as breathing and relaxation exercises.
Akron Children's asthma nurse educators offer classes to parents and caregivers to learn about the disease and what you and your child can do to help control asthma.
Sessions are presented regularly at Akron Children's Hospital in downtown Akron and at our Mahoning Valley Community Outreach, Education and Support Center in Boardman.
Call 330-543-8585 (Akron) or 330-729-1387 (Mahoning Valley) for more information.
We rely on your generosity to provide quality medical care to every child who needs us.
