Children need a champion, and Akron Children's takes its role as a leading advocate for children's health issues very seriously. We give voice to concerns that might otherwise go unnoticed, and we actively engage in policymaking, partnering and programming.
We partner with healthcare networks, businesses, and community and government organizations on quality of life issues to make a difference for our children, families and region.
We advocate for programs, legislation and funding resources on a local, state and national level to prevent injuries, treat or cure diseases, and raise awareness about mental health issues.
We also provide evaluations for physical or sexual abuse at these facilities: Children’s Center of Medina County, Portage County Advocacy Center and Wayne County Advocacy Center.
We rely on your generosity to provide quality medical care to every child who needs us.
