Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program

Akron Children’s Hospital’s Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) team provides specialized medical, emotional and social support for patients aged 12 to 25 diagnosed with cancer. This comprehensive program seeks to assist patients through all stages of their health care journey, from diagnosis and treatment to remission and survivorship.

The AYA team includes experts in oncology, adolescent medicine, reproductive medicine, psychology, pain management and child life.
