The Family Child Learning Center (FCLC) provides family-centered early intervention (EI) services to children birth to 3 years of age with delays and/or disabilities and their families. Services are provided at no cost to families involved in Ohio’s Help Me Grow program.
The FCLC believes effective early intervention encourages and supports caregivers in taking an active role in their child’s development and social competence. The program features early intervention team leaders from a variety of professional backgrounds, including speech language pathology, early childhood special education, social work and child development. All team leaders are certified to work with children up to 3 years of age.
The EI program uses 2 research-based tools to help families.
Families also have opportunities to participate in early intervention research conducted by FCLC. Participation in the research is always voluntary.
