The FCLC developmental evaluation team provides comprehensive evaluations for children birth to 3 years of age who have a diagnosed disability or medical condition, or are suspected of having a developmental delay. The interdisciplinary team has backgrounds in early childhood development, special education, speech language pathology, social work and other related disciplines.
The developmental evaluations serve 2 purposes:
All evaluations take place in the family’s home and are conducted by team members from two different disciplines.
For each evaluation, the team uses one of the following evidence-based tools:
Evaluations are free and may be requested by any parent or guardian of a child up to 3 years of age living in Summit County.

The Family Child Learning Center provides these services through a contract with Summit County Help Me Grow.
