"Tops Again"

Carrying on a tradition that dates to the 7th century, Akron Children's held a "topping off" ceremony for the expansion to its Considine Profressional Building. After giving employees a chance to sign the top beam, it was hoisted into place along with a tree and an American flag. The 230,000 square-foot expansion is set to open in April 2018.
