Congenital Nystagmus

More accurately known as infantile nystagmus, the "wiggling eyes" associated with this condition can make it difficult for a child to track moving objects or read the text on a page. In this Children's Channel video, Richard Hertle, MD, FAAO, FACS, FAAP, director of pediatric ophthalmology at Akron Children's Hospital, discusses the signs and symptoms of congenital nystagmus, as well as the comprehensive care required for proper treatment.
