Child's prayer request leads Santa to meet 13-year-old (WKYC)

When third grader Kennedy Filipczak visited Santa at the Holiday Tree Festival in Akron, her prayer wish for 13-year-old Ally Obney led Santa to visit Ally at Akron Children's with presents in tow. Ally, who was in the hospital recovering from a rare brain bleed called an arteriovenous malformation, also found out she was being released just in time for Christmas. Originally aired on WKYC on December 19, 2017.
