Meet Ryan: Osteogenic Sarcoma - 2013 Advertising Campaign

Even after Ryan was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer known as osteogenic sarcoma, undergoing several rounds of chemotherapy, and having six inches of his femur removed, he still towers above his Akron Children's Hospital oncologist Stephanie Savelli, and just about anyone else who might happen by. Although his dreams of playing Division 1 football may be sidelined for now, his positive attitude helps him stand tall, and he has since been named one of 12 finalists for the High School Football Rudy Awards.
