Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders

A cancer diagnosis is the first step in a lifelong journey, one the staff of the Akron Children's Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders shares with the children and families for whom they care. Ranked one of the top programs by U.S. News and World Report, we provide comprehensive care to children, teens and young adults with all types of childhood cancer, sickle cell disease, hemoglobinopathies and bleeding/clotting disorders, as well as those who require stem cell/bone marrow transplants. We also make sure there's time to blow a few bubbles and skip down the hall.
