Megan Sampson, MD

Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Program Director; Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist

Dr. Sampson has been practicing since 2018. She is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist and bone marrow transplant physician at the Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Akron Children’s. After graduating from Northeast Ohio Medical University, she completed a pediatric residency and pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at Akron Children’s, as well as a pediatric bone marrow transplant fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Dr. Sampson provides oncology care for children and adolescents with cancer, bone marrow transplant for children and adolescents with malignancies, bone marrow failure and other genetic disorders. She is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology and is a member of the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation and the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
