Emily Janitz, DO

Dr. Janitz is a pediatric radiologist at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing since 2011. She also works with patients in our Pediatric Thyroid Program to support the unique medical needs of children and adolescents with thyroid disease. A graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Janitz completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Aultman Hospital/Mercy Medical Center. She went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology with a certificate of added qualification in pediatric radiology. Additionally, Dr. Janitz is a member of several professional organizations including American Roentgen Ray Society, American College of Radiology and the American Osteopathic College of Radiology among others.
